Laparoscopic Surgical Management of Rectal Cancer at Tertiary Care Hospital

Objective: To evaluate the consequent outcomes in patients with rectal cancer endured laparoscopic surgical excision at Department of Surgery, Liaquat University Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro, Hyderabad to review their curative resection recurrence rates, postoperative morbidities complete survival. Methods: This prospective case series study was done General Surgery & Sciences, Sindh, Pakistan. All 30-65 years ages underwent diagnostic laparoscopy either gender were included. After removing tumor, specimen pinned out on a flat surface placed fixative solution allow orientation assessments exact margins. As specimens had acceptable clear margins limited invasion submucosa, no further procedure proceeded. Data collected via proforma. Results: A total 40 studied.
